Tampa Bay Child and Family Photographer {A Baby Announcement}

This couple is absolutely amazing.  Not only are they extremely easy on the eyes, but their hearts are gold.  They will absolutely be the most wonderful parents.  Before our pregnancy announcement session, we talked about how the beautiful mama-to-be intended on using the images and some of the things she wanted incorporated into their session.  They were planning on using the images to share with their families and friends that they were expecting, so I had to keep it a secret and not post until they shared the news.  Also, she wanted some of the sunny haze and a little bit of a warm, vintage feel to the images. { Ahh, my kinda style! }  She planned for two outfits that were perfectly complimentary and we both brought plenty of props!  I think this is one of my favorite sessions to date.  Which is your favorite image?

Tampa Child and Family Photographer: {The Z Family}

Last week, I was able to meet up with the Z family for a family session on Clearwater Beach.  The skies tried to scare us away with some seriously daunting clouds.  However, the rain stayed away and allowed for a very sweet session. Please enjoy some shots from our recent family session.

Tampa Newborn Photographer: {Newborn Baby K}

Introducing.... Baby K!  A few weeks back, I had the honor of taking K's newborn pictures.  He wasn't really interested in sleeping, yet with his Mama's help, I was able to capture a few of his restful moments.  We tried out a few new props and even ventured outside for a couple shots.  I'm finding myself drawn to the lifestyle newborn images.  By this, I mean the tender images of daddy and mama holding the baby, looking down at their little miracle with loving eyes, and possibly stealing a kiss.  Here are a few image from our recent newborn session.

The miracle of newborn-ness never ceases to amaze me.  Congratulations D and S.  I enjoyed working with you both.  Welcome to our world, K!

Tampa Bay Child and Family Photographer: {E and C}

So, my last post featured newborn baby J.  While we were taking his newborn photos, his big brother and sister were napping.  When they woke up, we had a sweet little sibling/family mini session.  These kids are just the sweetest, cutest, most blue-eyed children I've worked with.  Oh, what little darlin's!!!  Please enjoy some of my favorites from our Child/Family Session.

Tampa Bay Newborn Photographer: {Newborn Baby J}

Welcome to our world, sweet little J.  :)  I had the recent pleasure of taking Baby J's newborn photos.  He was such a good baby.  He was very cooperative in going to sleep, so we were able to get in quite a few poses/shots.  With newborn sessions, I always have a plan for poses, backgrounds, props, etc.  However, the execution of my plans fully revolves around how the baby responds.  So, we just go with the flow and let the baby lead our session.  I think my two favorite things from this session were Baby J's cheeks and the outdoor shots.  I hope you enjoy looking at them as much as I did taking and editing them.

Tampa Bay High School Senior Photographer {Cadence}

High school senior personality sessions and newborn sessions are my favorite types of photography.  Working with newborns is just precious and working with high school students is just FUN!!  Recently, I worked with Cadence, a beautiful, creative, and confident high school senior.  We decided that Tampa's Ybor City would be the best location to mirror her personality.  My goal with each senior is to make the student feel special, beautiful {or handsome!}, and like a model.  I want their senior pictures to reflect their personalities, who they are, and what they aspire to be.  So, without further ado, please enjoy some of my favorite images from Cadence's Senior Personality Session.
